Restoration for the things you wear.
Fixano began in Los Angeles, in a workshop where the conversation was always about what a piece was made of and what it had been through.
The pieces worth keeping rarely fail all at once. They fade in one place, crack in another, lose colour where they met the floor. The craft of restoration is knowing the difference between what is gone and what is recoverable — and doing the work to bring it back.
LA is a city of collectors. People here accumulate things that mean something: a pair of shoes from a particular year, a bag that belonged to someone. Those pieces end up at Fixano because their owners understand that replacement is not the same thing as restoration.
The app makes the process frictionless. Schedule a pickup, confirm the treatment, receive the piece back. The workshop is still the workshop. The work is still done by hand.
Salim founded Fixano to close the gap between the quality of craft that exists in Los Angeles and the difficulty of accessing it. He works across both the product and the workshop.
